LEAN TO:
Structure, such as a shed, having only one slope and depending upon another structure for partial support.
LOADS: Forces or other actions arising on structural systems from the weight of all permanent construction, occupants and their possessions, environmental effects, etc.
LOFT: A second story wood floor (normally plywood) supported by beams and joists.
LUMBER GRADE: The classification of lumber in regard to strength and utility in accordance with the grading rules of an approved lumber grading agency.
